Woodstock Autumn Beer Festival
This year marks the second annual Woodstock Autumn Beer Festival! Accompanied by food trucks and live music and presenting beer from some of the top brewers in the country, including RIOT Beer, Drifter Brewing Company, Woodstock Brewery, Darling Brew and Everson’s Cider, this festival is sure to be a hit!

Franschhoek Literary Festival
It’s a bit of a drive from Cape Town, but promises to be totally worth it! Boasting a program jam-packed with readings, workshops and discussions, this annual celebration of stories is the perfect weekend excursion for families. There will also be many, many, many books on sale for all the bookworms out there.

This is South Africa’s largest and longest running interactive food festival.
