Pink Flamingo Cinema

South Africa’s first rooftop cinema is situated on the roof of the Grand Daddy Hotel at 38 Long Street, Cape Town.  Screening classic and cult movies on a weekly basis, this is a cinema with a spin. 

On arrival, you will be asked to choose your intermission refreshments.  Choices include popcorn, candy floss and toffee apples.  Sponsored by Jameson you will of course also enjoy a drink or two, whilst you watch the stars under the stars.  In winter the Pink Flamingo is entirely waterproofed and heated.  During summer, cooling mists take the edge off muggy city evenings.
