Airstream Trailer Park make over

Back in 2009 The Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel opened the first ever rooftop Airstream Trailer Park located on Long Street in the heart of a city. These Trailers have provided a unique accommodation option for people travelling to the Mother City from all over the world and have set the stage for some awesome events from birthdays to anniversaries, marriage proposals to weddings, live music performances and album launches. They are one of the aspects that makes the Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel so unique and a highlight of any trip to Cape Town, whether it is to stay overnight, watch a movie at the Pink Flamingo Cinema or just enjoy an awesome cocktail overlooking the hustle and bustle of Long Street!

We have had a fantastic run with our 7 Airstream Trailers, which were individually decorated by some of Cape Town’s most exciting artists and designers but after 5 years the Trailers are in need of a good old make over and that is what we are giving them.  Each Trailer will stripped from the inside out, redesigned to make optimum use of the limited space and redecorated!

So this winter we say a bitter sweet goodbye to Dorothy, Love of Lace, Moontides, The Ballad of John & Yoko, Pleasantville and Goldilocks, it’s been a blast!
