Life does rush by at a pace that frightens me, and I am grateful that The Incidental Daddy and eternal traveller within me always remembers to stop, look and see more than the rush. There are so many wonderful experiences to be had, with many of them right here in Cape Town, and I’m determined to seek them out. With that in mind, this week I’d like to recommend a visit to Boulders Beach to see the Colony of African Penguins that live here. It’s also a wonderful place to take in the sea breeze.

If you find yourself with a couple of hours to spare on any day, I’d highly recommend finding your way to the Iziko South Africa Museum for an explore and a wander. Located in the Company’s Garden, the Museum was founded in 1825 and houses important collections in the field of zoology, paleontology and archeology.
